Description

Plage & marais de Bétahon is a feeding place for coastal shorebirds and seabirds, numerous shorebirds on marshes and a few nesting species. Very good for birdwatching. Some of the species you can see here are Bar-tailed Godwit, Black-winged Stilt, Avocet, European Turtle Dove, Little Ringed Plover and Common Ringed Plover.

Français: Entre marais et plage, une multitude d'observations dans un cadre de bord de mer magnifique. Plage servant de de lieu de nourrissage au limicoles côtiers et au oiseuax marins, de nombreux limicoles sur les marais et queqlues espèces nicheuses. Un vrai régal pour les yeux !

Access

From the N165, exit at Muzillac and head towards Damgan. At the Lyonne roundabout, take the direction of Betahon, then take the direction of Betahon beach. Park in the parking lot and continue on foot on the path at the top of the dune. You will oversee both the beach and the marshes.

Français: Depuis la N165, sortir à Muzillac et prendre la direction de Damgan. Au rond-point de Lyonne, prendre la direction de Betahon, puis prendre la direction de la plage de Betahon. Garez-vous sur le parking et continuez à pied sur le sentier en haut de la dune. Vous dominerez à la fois la plage et les marais.
