Description

The Büchelberg is a very diverse nature reserve. On the heath fields you can see many different bird species. The forest area of the nature reserve is also rich in birds and home to many woodpecker species and songbirds. Among the birds you can encounter in the area are Red-backed Shrike, Eurasian Blue Tit, Great Tit, European Robin, Song Thrush, Mistle Thrush, Wren, Black Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Willow Tit and Eurasian Green Woodpecker.

On the edge of the nature reserve is a parking lot to park the car. Click on the P in the map to get directions. The best way to explore the area is on foot. But it is also possible by bike.
