Description

Griesenbachwiesen is a wet meadow area along the Griesenbach stream. Over the years, a wet biotope has been created here. The area currently covers a size of about 7 hectare. Scottish Highland cattle graze here to create habitat for typical field and meadow species. Among the birds you can see here are Whinchat, European Stonechat, Yellowhammer, Red Kite, Black Redstart, Northern Lapwing, Eurasian Green Woodpecker, Western Yellow Wagtail, Tree Pipit, Eurasian Skylark and Red-backed Shrike.
