The nature reserve Lake Felchow and Lanke, both of glacial origin are shallow lakes with extensive reed beds. Important for water fowl and migrating birds.

Description

The Felchowsee and the Lanke are two lesser-known, somewhat remote shallow water lakes in the Uckermark region. A very good place to see Great Bittern, Little Bittern, Spotted Crake and Little Crake.

A small road from the village of Felchow leads to a parking place (overnight parking forbidden). Click on the P in the map to get directions.
