Description

NSG Mühlhausen has artificially created ponds as water retention basins. It is an important wetland area of the Kraichgau Hügelland, despite its small size. The area had lots of traffic with all known advantages and disadvantages, but well connected. The area has everal observation places. Among the birds you can see here are Water Rail, Little Ringed Plover, Common Kingfisher, Eurasian Green Woodpecker, Golden Oriole and Goldcrest.
