Description

The nature reserve of Roßwag is an area of wonderful natural meadows with lots of birds and insects. Even in winter, a good area for bird watching. And very good for birding during bird migration. Among the birds you can see in the area are Eurasian Kestrel, White Stork, Eurasian Green Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Long-tailed Tit, Greenfinch, Yellowhammer, Northern Lapwing, Red Kite, Black Kite, European Goldfinch, House Martin, Barn Swallow, Fieldfare, Song Thrush, Black Redstart, Goosander, Grey Heron, Great Egret, Great Cormorant, Blackcap, Common Nightingale, Grey Wagtail, Common Kingfisher, Common Swift, Eurasian Hobby, Eurasian Goshawk and Mistle Thrush.
