Description

The Pätzer Plan is a large open space that is used for agriculture. The area is a mix of meadows and arable land. In the back there is also a small wetland. In winter, these areas are used as winter quarters for migratory birds such as Common Crane, Greylag Goose and Northern Lapwing. In summer there is a good chance of seeing Red-backed Shrike, Common Snipe or Eurasian Hoopoe. Other birds you can encounter in the area are Western Marsh Harrier, Eurasian Kestrel, Common Buzzard, Rough-legged Buzzard, Great Grey Shrike and Red Kite.
