Description

The Rothschildpark is a public park in Frankfurt, located within the central business district known as the Bankenviertel. The park is named for the Rothschild family, a banking family originating in Frankfurt. From 1832 the park was developed in the style of an English landscape garden. It's a nice place for birdwatching in the city. It is only a small park but has nonetheless an amazing variety of birds. Among the birds you can see in the park are European Robin, Eurasian Blue Tit, Great Tit, Common Chaffinch, Greenfinch, European Goldfinch, Blackbird, Fieldfare, Song Thrush, Common Starling, Eurasian Nuthatch, Common Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, European Serin, Eurasian Siskin, Common Wood Pigeon, Short-toed Treecreeper, Carrion Crow, Jackdaw, Eurasian Wryneck, Eurasian Green Woodpecker and Great Spotted Woodpecker.
