Description

Mt Hymettus is a great birding place, very close to the city center of Athens with several species to enjoy such as Rüppell's Warbler, Black-eared Wheatear, Chukar, Long-legged Buzzard and Red-breasted Flycatcher . Different habitats (scattered forest, olive groves, makia vegetation, rocky slopes) provide excellent habitat for a variety of birds, basically passerines.
