Description

The Area of Torrazzuolo is a naturalistic area of more than 115 hectares. It is characterized by canals and ditches, lakes, reeds, reforestation and an extensive lattice of hedges and tree-lined rows that make it a place of high environmental value. A little wetland where you can encounter some interesting species like Grey Heron, Penduline Tit, Greylag Goose, Western Marsh Harrier, Little Bittern, Squacco Heron and Black-crowned Night Heron.

Access

From the little city of Nonantola move towoards Bologna and follow the indications for the Are Il Torrazzuolo. There is a little place to park your car and after you can continue by foot always following the road signs.
