Description

Cave Mengato are former gravel pits in the floodplains of the Brenta river. Among the birds you can see are Mute Swan, Grey Heron, Common Buzzard, Common Kingfisher, Great Crested Grebe, Little Egret, Little Bittern and Great Bittern.

Access

You park near a quarry where the road ends (see the P in the map) and from there you can walk on a path along some fields to the pond complex. There are paths between the different ponds to explore the area.
