Description

Centro Cicogne Racconigi was founded in December 1985 for the reintroduction of the White Stork. The area has a marsh that is attractive for numerous other species of birds. In the middle of the marsh there is a bird hide. Among the other birds you can see are Eurasian Coot, Water Rail, Little Grebe, Great Crested Grebe, Little Egret, Great Egret, Black-winged Stilt, Ruff, Northern Lapwing, Common Snipe, Common Teal, Northern Pintail, Common Shelduck, European Goldfinch and Greenfinch.

Access

In the city of Racconigi, numerous road signs indicate the area. The Stork Center is open every day of the year, including holidays, from 10 am until sunset. Entry fee for adults is 7 euro.
