Description
The Laghetti di Campo are two small lakes at the foot of Monte Pisano, within a bend of the Arno River. The mix of water, reed beds and woodland edges attracts many birds. Migratory bird species pass through in spring and autumn, while resident birds like herons, ducks, and tits are present year-round. A 3 km trail with information panels runs around the lakes. Note that during the weekend it can be busy with people.

The Laghetti di Campo are located along the River Arno in San Giuliano Terme, 7 km east of Pisa. From Pisa take SS12 (Via Statale Abetone) north toward San Giuliano Terme. Press P on the map for directions to the parking.
