Description

During autumn migration this area at the foot of Mount Bulgheria is a particularly interesting area for birds of prey. All year round you can find Common Buzzard, Eurasian Kestrel, Peregrine Falcon, Sparrowhawk, Eurasian Goshawk, Little Owl and Tawny Owl. During the migration the situation becomes more interesting with Pallid Harrier, Montagu's Harrier, Western Marsh Harrier in spring and late summer with hundreds of Black Kite, European Honey-buzzard, Western Marsh Harrier and, if you are lucky, Egyptian Vulture, Booted Eagle, Lesser Spotted Eagle, Osprey and Griffon Vulture.

Italiano: Area posta ai piedi del Monte Bulgheria (Sa) con vista sul golfo di Policastro. Da agosto a ottobre interessante e numeroso passo di rapaci in migrazione. Area interessante in particolare per i rapaci. Tutto l'anno si trovano Common Buzzard , Eurasian Kestrel , Peregrine Falcon , Sparrowhawk , Eurasian Goshawk , Little Owl e Tawny Owl. Durante i passi migratori la situazione di venta più interessante con Pallid Harrier, Montagu's Harrier, Western Marsh Harrier in primavera e da fine estate con centinaia di Black Kite, European Honey-buzzard, Western Marsh Harrier e, se si è fortunati, Egyptian Vulture, Booted Eagle, Lesser Spotted Eagle, Osprey e Griffon Vulture.
