Description

Nikšićko polje (Nikšić karst field) is the largest karst field in Montenegro, with a surface of 66,5 km². Many birds can be seen in the area. Among the birds you can see here are Red-footed Falcon, Lesser Grey Shrike, Common Snipe, Short-toed Snake Eagle, Eurasian Hoopoe, Golden Oriole and Common Crane. It is open area with a lot of asfalt roads and makadam roads. Best place are a dams on the artificial lakes in area.
