Description

APL Polder is an abbreviation for Albert-, Pieters-, Leendertspolder. Many bird species, beavers and deer can be seen. Scottish Highland-cattle keep the vegetation short in certain areas. Varied nature on a small surface: open water, old 'grienden' (moist fields on which willow wood was grown), grazed meadow.

There is a parking space in the harbor of Strijen-Sas (see the P on the map). From there you can walk a nice circular walk of about 1.5 hours (you have to use a pulling ferry along the way).
