Description

The colony of Great Cormorant in De Geul is impressive (over 1000 nests in 2020) and the Eurasian Spoonbill fly on and off to their colony too. The number of ducks can vary, but species like Northern Shoveler , Gadwall , Tufted Duck , Common Pochard and sometimes Garganey can be observed, while songbirds like Bluethroat and Common Nightingale perform as a background choir. In some years, Black-necked Grebe will breed here.

Over enkele jaren zal Black-necked Grebe hier waarschijnlijk broeden.
