This is how large parts of the Netherlands must have looked like one hundred years ago. In summer buzzing with grassland birds such is Black-tailed Godwit. In wintertime a heaven for various kinds of geese. Birds you can see here include: Black-tailed Godwit, Common Redshank, Eurasian Skylark, Hen Harrier, Western Marsh Harrier, Greylag Goose, Barnacle Goose and Red-breasted Goose.

Access

Best to be explored by walking along the dykes. Parking just before the N481 crosses the Boezem, at the Zijdeweg. Or find the birding place at the Geerweg. The walking-route you see on the map is about 5 km.
