Het Grote Vlak often holds a lot of ducks ( Northern Shoveler , Gadwall , Northern Pintail , Common Shelduck , Eurasian Wigeon and in spring Garganey ), gulls and grebes. Sometimes waders, like Black-tailed Godwit , are abundant and few songbirds, like Water Pipit and European Stonechat (sometimes even Bluethroat ), can be found.
