The Loetbos is small area of water-rich grassland and scattered trees in the Krimpenerwaard, situated along the little river Loet.

Description

The combination of trees, swampy patches, many little rivers and grass meadows provides a diverse habitat that is home to various species of owls (Long-eared Owl, Short-eared Owl), birds of prey (Eurasian Kestrel , Eurasian Goshawk) plenty of waterfowl, Great Egret, Eurasian Wigeon, various geese, and meadowbirds.
