Extra info

Hoog Buurlo is an ancient forest and residential center in the heart of the Veluwe, one of the biggest natural areas in The Netherlands. The hamlet consists of two sheep cages and two houses, a herd of Veluwe sheep, stately beech avenues, oak and beech forests, fields surrounded by wild ramparts and adjacent to the vast Hoog Buurlose heath. The sheepfold serves as a night stay for the sheep. This has been the case since the 9th century. Next to many birds you can encounter red deer and wild boar all year round.
