Description

Kwakvors is a small nature reserve of 25 hectares not far from the village of Grashoek. It consists of a low-lying grassland area with some pools. The area is surrounded by strips of newly created forest. The pools in the open area are visited by many birds. Meadow birds such as Eurasian Curlew and Northern Lapwing are looking for food in the surrounding meadows. Also about 15 species of dragonflies are found in this nature reserve.
