Description

The Roggebot forest area cannot be compared with the other forest areas in the province of Flevoland due to the sandy soil and relatively high location. This means that species occur in this wooded area that are hardly found elsewhere in Flevoland. It is a varied forest area with open plains, deciduous and coniferous forest, waterways and other water features. Nice species that breed here are: Eurasian Bullfinch, Hawfinch, Black Woodpecker, Eurasian Nuthatch, Crested Tit, Tree Pipit, Pied Flycatcher and the last few years also White-tailed Eagle.
