Description

From this small tower you have a view of the beautiful brook valley of Koningsdiep (or Alddjip). Common species are Mallard, Mute Swan and Eurasian Coot. Several pairs of White Stork nest nearby. In winter, many geese come to forage on the grasslands, especially Greater White-fronted Goose. Meadow birds such as Northern Lapwing, Eurasian Oystercatcher and a few Black-tailed Godwit can still be seen.
