Description

Wetland that is located about 20 km from Warsaw, close to the village of Kanie along the stream Zimna Woda. Among the birds you can see in the area are: Great Spotted Woodpecker, Eurasian Coot, Northern Lapwing, Long-tailed Tit, Common Goldeneye, Common Crane, Common Buzzard, Western Marsh Harrier, Golden Oriole and Hawfinch.

Access

The best parking spot is at the railway station Kanie Helenowskie WKD. You can easily reach the area both by foot and by bike. In the spring time the water level can be high and complicate the trip and flood the causeway.
