Description

Depending on the season lots of birds can be spotted at the Włocławek Dam. You can see White-tailed Eagle (usually Autumn/Winter, but recently spotted all year round), Great Cormorant, Linnet, Eurasian Coot. The place can be crowded with tourists visiting to Popiełuszko's Memorial. Even then still lots of opportunities to watch birds, but I would recommend visiting in the morning or in the evening for a smaller crowd.

Access

Park at the Dam - and explore the area. Take a look at the lagoon - lots of ducks, coots and geese to be spoted (depending on the season). Then walk down to the cross. At the river you will see Great Cormorant, swans, geese and ducks. In the marshes surrounding the area lots of small birds like Linnet can be found. You can spot White-tailed Eagle on the other side of the river or flying above the water.
