Description

Many wanderers can be found all over the Azores, especially in autumn, but Faja Grande is the best place. Among other things Spotted Sandpiper, White-billed Diver, Laughing Gull and many songbirds have been found here. Petrels and seabirds from Europe and the southern hemisphere are also found here.

Faja Grande can only be reached by car. The car can be parked in various places. Hiking holidays can also be taken from Faja Grande.
