Description

The reservoir of Cal Tet is close to the city of Barcelona, but with possibilities to see many different birds. Mainly in time of migration. The surrounding area on the right bank of the final stretch of the River Llobregat has a wide variety of landscapes: coastal ponds, reedbeds, wet meadows, pine forests. Among the birds you can see here are Common Waxbill, Penduline Tit, Little Grebe, Common Kingfisher, Red-crested Pochard and many more.

Access

Cal Tet is located just south of Barcelona near the airport. Accessible by public transport. From the Les Moreres Metro station (1) it is a 30 minute walk. You can also reach the area by car and park at the entrance of the area. Press P on the map for directions to the parking.
