Description

The Osuna Steppes, no matter what time of the year are great to visit. Just drive around the area and stop frequently and you can see birds like Great Bustard, Little Bustard, Black-bellied Sandgrouse, Stone-curlew, Black-winged Kite and European Roller. Or at the ponds rare ducks like White-headed Duck and often Greater Flamingo. But also more common birds like Red-legged Partridge, Common Raven, European Bee-eater, Eurasian Hoopoe and Sardinian Warbler.

Sometimes Great Bustard can be seen in large groups up to 70 birds!

Drive north and northwest from Osuna en keep on the secondary roads. Make frequent stops and scan the landscape.
