Description

The Llobregat Delta has many different habitats. From pine forests and meadows, to reeds, dune vegetation and underwater grassland. The wetland is an excellent place for bird-watching, as well as being a strategic point on the bird migration route. The well signposted wetland has short and pleasant routes. Note that the area is near the El Prat Airport and there can be a lot of noise. Oddities and interesting birds are often seen at any time of the year. Among the interesting birds you can see here are Common Shelduck, Great Bittern, Eurasian Scops Owl, Little Grebe, Greater Flamingo, Moustached Warbler, Cory's Shearwater, Yelkouan Shearwater, Balearic Shearwater, Kentish Plover and Collared Pratincole .
