Description

Embalse de Cubilar is a birdrich reservoir. Many species of waders and waterbirds like Great Crested Grebe, Little Grebe, Northern Shoveler and Black-winged Stilt can be seen here. The area is also of great interest to observe the Common Crane that is very abundant in the area and that frequents this reservoir as a roost.

Espagnol: Embalse declarado zona ZEPA, con gran variedad de especies. Embalse de Cubilar es un embalse que alberga gran cantidad y variedad de aves acuáticas. Destacando el Great Crested Grebe. También es una zona de mucho interés para observar a la Common Crane muy abundante por la zona y que frecuenta este embalse como dormidero.

Any type of vehicle can reach the dam the reservoir. To get to the areas where you usually see Common Crane, it is better to explore the area on foot. But the birds can be viewed from any point in the reservoir.
