Description

Laguna de Navaseca is a lagoon that has water input throughout the year from a water treatment plant. Due to the large amount of nutrients in the water, all kinds of permanent and seasonal water birds live and breed in the area. Among the birds that can be seen are Greylag Goose, Greater Flamingo, Black-headed Gull, Western Marsh Harrier, Black-necked Grebe, Little Grebe, White-headed Duck, Eurasian Coot, Avocet, Common Sandpiper, Purple Swamphen, Eurasian Moorhen, Black-winged Stilt, Red-crested Pochard, Northern Shoveler, Sedge Warbler and Bearded Tit.

Esta laguna tiene aporte de agua durante todo el año procedente de una depuradora y debido a la gran cantidad de nutrientes del agua, allí se concentran todo tipo de aves acuáticas permanentes y de temporada que viven y crian y que se pueden ver a simple vista.
