Description
The small Puebla campsite is situated on the Embalse de José Torán. This reservoir is located on the bird migration route to Tarifa. As spring progresses, a large part of the reservoir dries up, allowing you to make beautiful walks inside the reservoir. Especially during the autumn migration the (empty) reservoir is visited by hundreds of Common Ringed Plover and Little Ringed Plover, 3 species of Western Yellow Wagtail, countless Red-rumped Swallow, as well as Crag Martin, House Martin, Sand Martin and Barn Swallow. Eurasian Hoopoe can be seen in large numbers. Black-winged Kite hunts every day, often with 2 or 3 individuals.
In spring and summer the campsite has breeding Red-backed Shrike, Black Redstart, Common Redstart, Pied Flycatcher, Spotted Flycatcher, Iberian Grey Shrike, Spanish Sparrow, 4 species of tits, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker and Eurasian Green Woodpecker. The Spanish Imperial Eagle and Griffon Vulture breed in the vicinity of the campsite. Short-toed Snake Eagle, Booted Eagle and Osprey are also frequently seen, as are Black Kite and Red Kite.
Located between Seville and Cordoba, the small campsite is an excellent place to stay surrounded by nature. There are a huge variety of birds to spot on and around the campsite. If you stay for a few days, you can easily see 80 species of birds up close.

Español: El pequeño camping Puebla está situado junto al Embalse de José Torán. Este embalse se encuentra en la ruta migratoria de las aves hacia Tarifa. Con la llegada de la primavera, gran parte del embalse se seca, lo que permite dar preciosos paseos por su interior. Especialmente durante la migración otoñal, el embalse (vacío) recibe la visita de cientos de Common Ringed Plover y Little Ringed Plover, 3 especies de Western Yellow Wagtail, incalculables Red-rumped Swallow, así como Crag Martin, House Martin, Sand Martin y Barn Swallow.
