Description

Puerto de Los Urrutias is basically a beach area, crossed by a bridge that leads to the marina. On both sides of the bridge you can see small islands where birds rest. It is especially recommended to visit this area in winter, where you can see many waders in a really small space and have a considerable approach. They include Greater Flamingo, Grey Plover, Common Ringed Plover, Kentish Plover or Dunlin among other species.

Access

There is no parking as such, but you can park the vehicle just 30 meters from the beach that is at the destination. It is best to explore the area on foot, and pay close attention to both sides of the bridge, as well as under it, since birds also tend to take refuge there.
