Close to Farsta on the border between Stockholm and Huddinge this small lake is a link between the two bigger lakes Orlången and Magelungen.

Description

Surrounded by ancient farmland and marshes this nutrient rich lake offers birds as Common Pochard, Western Marsh Harrier, Thrush Nightingale, Great Bittern. In the surrounding forests one often can find Black Woodpecker. In spring Great Snipe and Jack Snipe can be heard.

Access

The area is best accessed from Ågesta gård and can be reached by bus, car and bike were there is also plenty of parking places. The stables have a small café.
