Etang de la Brena is a wetland with reed beds on the North West side of Lake Neuchatel with a small avenue of trees to the South East. Good for easy birding.

Description

Etang de la Brena is a small lake where it is easy to observe birds on the North West side of Lake Neuchatel. It's a place to see more common birds like Gadwall, Mallard, Great Crested Grebe, Eurasian Coot, Eurasian Moorhen and Mute Swan. But also a chance on Red-crested Pochard and Goosander.

Français: Endroit calme, avec roseaux sur le côter Nord Ouest, et petite allée d'arbres au Sud Est. Observation assez facile, endroit humide. Gadwall, Mallard, Great Crested Grebe, Eurasian Coot, Eurasian Moorhen, Mute Swan.

Access

Litorrail / Bas des Allés stop, follow the small road alongside STEP, go under the A5 motorway bridge, turn left (approx. 30 m.) You can walk around the lake.
