Description

The Club Asteria Belek is a hotel located on the southwestern coast of Turkey. It's surrounded by lots of green landscapes, being mainly golf courses and a river, which makes it a perfect environment for nice birding when in the area. A beautiful bird found in the area, and even the symbol of the Belek region, is the Barn Owl. Common species found around the resort are Eurasian Hoopoe, White-spectacled Bulbul, European Turtle Dove, Masked Shrike and Northern Wheatear. During migration, anything can turn up here. On the beaches, you have a chance of seeing Yellow-legged Gull, waders and typical shorebirds.
