Beskrivning
Florya Atatürk Ormanı is a beautiful green area located in the Florya neighborhood in Istanbul. This forested area was established in 1937 by the order of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The park can be very busy, but is nice for some relaxed birding and you have a good chance to spot balkanspett, palmduva, Härfågel, eksångare, alexanderparakit, halsbandsparakit and gulhämpling. Especially during migration nice birds can turn up like törnskata, grå flugsnappare, mindre flugsnappare, svartvit flugsnappare, rödstjärt and ärtsångare.
