Reputedly 192 species visit the area and wetlands around the village of Gökova, mostly on migration. That includes 5 species of lark, 4 of wheatear, vagrant falcons. 60 species breed including härmsångare and trastsångare. Also Smyrnakungsfiskare can be spotted. Wintering wildfowl such as Kricka, stjärtand and rödhalsad gås. Boat trips available along the river and coastline. All seasons good except in summer heat.
