Description
During autumn bird migration many bird visit or cross the area. Raptors and other soaring birds use the coastal mountain range to move south. Various species of herons and other waterfowl are attracted by the water of the river and the nearby coastal salt marshes. Access
With your car you can drive towards the riverside. Walk along the river banks towards the mouth of the river. There are many small roads and unpaved roads you can follow.
Follow the shore line to the north and you will arrive at salt marshes after circa 2km.
