Description
Yumurtalık Lagoon is a specific place to see wintering populations of Kurki. Also, ruostesorsa, ristisorsa, merimetso, tukkakoskelo, shore birds, gulls and many more can be seen there especially in winter. There are many natural ponds, dunes, saline mud flats, bushes where you can see bird species richnes. There is Pinus halepensis forest which is one of the most important distribution area of this tree species.

Access
You can reach Yumurtalık Lagoon by car. Public transport is not a good option to explore this area. Unpaved roads in the lagoon area can be muddy, so it can be difficult to drive during rainy season. Click on a P in the map for directions or coordinates.
