Description
Bar Hall Bay is always a very quiet area with many waders and seabirds, as well as meadow birds including siva čaplja komatni deževnik školjkarica veliki kormoran rjava penica prosnik and you are very likely to spot some common seals.
At low tide (see a link to the tides table below) it is possible to walk out to a small island, over a rocky causeway, which is a lovely place for getting photographs of all the birds.

Access
There is no parking at Bar Hall Bay itself, but it can be accessed from Ballyquinton Point car park, near Portaferry, either along the shoreline or by Barr Hall Bay Trail, through farmland. Click on the P in the map for directions.
