This site contains a wet grassland habitat which provides ideal conditions for breeding Чибис and Большой кроншнеп. The surrounding farmland has lots of Полевой воробей and Полевой жаворонок whilst in winter numbers of Свиязь and Чирок-свистунок peak.

The site is accessed from Gainsborough via the A631. At the first roundabout west of the Trent Bridge, follow the signs to Beckingham village and then take Station Street on the right. The nearest postcode is DN10 4PY. The car park is open from 9:00 to 17:00 everyday.
