Description
The area around Errwood Reservoir is a good site for many upland woodland species such as Crnovrata muharica, Obična crvenrepka, Šumska trepteljka and Siva muharica and the best time to visit is in spring when the birds are in song. Šumski zviždak is also present some years. Polojka, Žalar slepić and Mandarinka can be found around the southern end of the reservoir itself and Red Grouse and Velika carska šljuka are common on the surrounding moors. Vodenkos and Potočna pliska inhabit the stream to the south of the reservoir and several species of raptor can often be seen in flight over the valley.
