Description
Frampton on Severn is a peaceful linear rural village with boating lake, private secluded lake and information boards detailing circular walks. Far end of village is Gloucester Ship Canal where Splatt Bridge has car park and gives pedestrian access to towpath with views of flashes, reedbeds and mudflats, distant views of whatever is flocking over Slimbridge. Large roaming flock of Silkehejre usually with one or two Kohejre. Sortterne regular most autumns.
