Description
Frenchman's Rocks is a useful seawatch point in late summer and early autumn, best when a SW or NW wind is blowing. Best views are from the hill next to Wavegen Power Station, called Rubha na Faing on the Ordnance Survey map. There is a car park at Claddach near Currie Sands beach.
Birds to see are Morska crnka, Crni turpan, Veliki morski gnjurac, Crnogrli morski gnjurac, Riđogrli morski gnjurac, Čađavi zovoj, Obični zovoj, Balearski zovoj, Lastorepa burnica, Veliki pomornik, Vitorepi pomornik, Kratkorepi pomornik, Arktička čigra, Lastorepi galeb, Troprsti galeb, Laponska muljača, Morska trepteljka, Šljuka kamenjarka and Morska sprutka.
