Description
The Grwyne Fawr Reservoir is located in the valley of the river Grwyne Fawr in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Typical upland nesting birds are present eg Dağ kuyruksallayanı, Derekuşu, Kuyrukkakan, Taşkuşu, Kızılkuyruk, Şahin, Gök doðan, Kar Tavuğu ssp scotica, Kervançulluğu Altın yağmurcun and Büyük tarakdiş. Easy parking and steady uphill streamside track to reservoir.

Access
From Abergavenny take Hereford road, go left through Llanfihangel Crucorney, three more left turns take you to Grwyne Fawr road, follow this uphill for 7 miles. From the top car park it is a 2 mile walk along the stream to the reservoir. From the top car park you can also make a circular 9 mile ridgetop walk around the reservoir. A beautiful but strenuous walk requiring preparations eg check weather forecast, comfortable boots, map, compass, mobile phone, waterproofs, food and drink. The 9 mile walk is marked on the map.
