Description
The Insh Marshes covers 10 square kilometres of the River Spey floodplain and is an important area for breeding and overwintering birds, and is home to some of Scotlands most spectacular birdlife. The breeders of the marsh include калуѓерка, црвенонога тринга, голем српоклун свиркач and обична бекасина. The marsh is also an important site for raptors through out the year, for example орел рибар can be seen here during Spring and Summer and in Autumn and Winter the site is an important place for roosting Полска еја. The marsh is also an important site for overwintering жолтоклун лебед, патка свиркач and цуцулест кожувар.

Access
To get to Insh marshes you have to take the B970 from Kingussie (village) and continue towards Ruthven Barracks (a castle) and then go for 1 kilometer (1000 meters).
By train: Kingussie station is a 1.5 mile (2.4 km) walk away. The nearest bus stop is also in Kingussie.
