Description
The Insh Marshes covers 10 square kilometres of the River Spey floodplain and is an important area for breeding and overwintering birds, and is home to some of Scotlands most spectacular birdlife. Access
To get to Insh marshes you have to take the B970 from Kingussie (village) and continue towards Ruthven Barracks (a castle) and then go for 1 kilometer (1000 meters).
By train: Kingussie station is a 1.5 mile (2.4 km) walk away. The nearest bus stop is also in Kingussie.
