Description
Kelling Quag is a patch of water in an area also known as Kelling Water Meadows. The norm is to park next to The Old Reading Room cafe (or, if you use this excellent cafe, ask to leave car). Walk north along track towards sea. On the right (east) there are always loads of hares as well as Su çulluğu, Küçük su çulluğu and waders. Next is a large scrape pool which has been great for Deniz düdükçünü, Kızıl denizdüdükçünü, ducks geese, etc. Has been known for Mavigerdan, Çalı kamışçını, shrikes and a multitude of rarer birds.
