Description
Llandegla Forest is one of the few places in Wales to see Nyírfajd lekking. The RSPB have a hide and as of 2022, guided walks, see their website. Among the other birds you can observe in the area are Lappantyú, Red Grouse, Réti pityer, Réti fülesbagoly, Kis sólyom, cigánycsuk, rozsdás csuk, Kakukk, Énekes rigó, Zöld küllo, Egerészölyv, Vörös kánya, Kékes rétihéja and Hantmadár.

8 miles west of Wrexham on the Ruthin road. Click on the P in the map for directions. Bus X51 runs hourly, Mon to Sat and 2-hourly Sundays from either town. Nearest train station, Wrexham.
